Beam ABA Services
Beam ABA Services helps to improve the lives of children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD and other complex needs using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy. Beam provides outcome-focused, evidenced-based, data-driven ABA therapy programmes at home and in schools for early intervention, school years, university years and transition years to bring about meaningful and purposeful change in behaviour, enhancing the individual’s experience of the world. Our home-based programmes are available in Greater London, Manchester, Birmingham and the South West (Bath, Bristol, Somerset). Our ABA programmes are available seven days a week across the morning, day time and evenings, as well as respite services. Each ABA programme has full clinical oversight from a BCBA ABA consultant. Our online parent-led programmes (ABA Pathfinder) is available nationwide. ABA consultants are brought remotely into family homes using video technology. Parents and carers receive all the tools, strategies, coaching and support needed to implement an ABA programme individually designed for their child, with the Consultant having full oversight of the programme to ensure it meets its goals and is aligned with best practice clinical standard. We recognise the uniqueness of each individual and their support system and tailor each programme to suit their needs. From assessment though treatment, we constantly monitor progress and use data to guide our decisions. Using an evidenced-based, person-centred approach, our ABA therapy programmes are least restrictive, individualised and practical. All ABA programmes are evaluated through ongoing coaching, feedback, goal setting and documented supervision. Our clinical supervisors are fully involved with the assessment process and programme delivery, and work closely with families, schools and other involved parties. Our ABA Consultants and Supervisors are qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) or hold an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis. Our Behaviour Support Therapists (BSTs) receive full induction training and we are early adopters of the BACB RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) credential for established standards for those paraprofessionals tasked with implementation of behaviour analytical programmes. Beam ABA is Care Quality Commission regulated and our most recent report is available online.
