WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS GROUP
1) Meet fun people on the autism spectrum like yourself
2) Engage in fun social games and activities over ZOOM such as Family Feud, Mad Libs, Jackbox Games and others.
3) Be yourself and share your interests whether you are into Power Rangers, My Little Pony, Anime, Beanie Babies, or anything else. This is the group for you.
We ask that you mute yourself when it is not your turn to talk.
Group starts promptly at 1PM.
Important announcements are given at the start of group. The first hour of group consists of interactive social games that everyone can participate in. The last 30 minutes usually involves playing group games via Jackbox Games. Please read further down below for how to play Jackbox Games.
This group is scheduled to last 90 minutes but may end earlier or go longer depending on the number of attendees.

On a separate browser, log into jackbox.tv and enter the 4 digit passcode given out during group.
PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you have two devices for the Jackbox portion of group, so that you can see what is going on in the ZOOM group while playing on Jackbox.
ABOUT THE ORGANIZER
This group is led by Arman Khodaei, an autistic individual who started this group as an in-person meetup group in 2008 and has kept it going ever since, now on ZOOM.
In 2014, Arman was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown to be on Area Board XII of the State Council on Developmental Disabilities. He also served on a Task Force for the California State Senate to help draft autism-related legislation. Arman has been on numerous panels and does workshops and keynote speaking engagements for K-12 schools, colleges, conferences, and various organizations. In 2011, Arman was awarded by the San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center for his contributions to the autism community.
